I went a bit crazy with my Ulta haul week before last. I purchased this product because it was different, and by different I mean I found it weird. I also bought more from this line but we will get to those in other posts.
I have used this over liquid foundation and powder and to be honest I still do not know what to make of it. I am one that likes to be able to see what I am using and know it is there. But I did love they gave you the sponge with the "translucent powder". That feels like some kind of dried glue stick substance in the compact.
So, when I apply this over powder I have found if I press to hard when dabbing at it the powder comes off on the sponge and I look like I didn't put foundation on part of my face. The liquid foundation moved a bit so I have tried lightening my touch a bit more and still have a few issues.
I think overall I prefer setting sprays, I can feel it going on and know it is there. This protected my makeup a bit and gave a smooth feel, at least I believe it was that but the powder foundation does as well.
I will continue to use it to see if it is technique I am lacking but I have to say this product is not a foolproof product.
