Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash - Deep Penetrating Moisture

I am now 35 years old and of course in that frame of mind that I know I am getting older I just have absolutely no interest in seeing it in the mirror.  Saying that, I have been trying many different things, well this is nothing new I have been trying to find ways around it for years.  On this uphill road I have discovered I HATE Oil of Olay products.  I have tried many different products from them over the years and this body wash has turned me against them completely.
Does it make your skin appear soft sure it does, if you do not mind feeling oily and unclean.  Many of these products use petroleum bases and tons of oils that trap water into your skin for a period that will give it a nice look for a bit. Down side to this you are clogging your pores, not allowing more moisture into your skin or toxins out; skin needs to breath in a sense.
My biggest issue with this was the fact I never felt clean using it.  I used the whole bottle in hopes that some miracle would happen after a course of time but no such luck. The body lotion even worse, this is just my opinion on the matter.
In the mean time I have a NuBrilliance microdermabrasion system coming this weekend and we will see what that has to offer.  I am actually looking forward to it.  I do have a lot of other reviews on products and items I have tried, I will get those posted in the next couple of days.  We have recently moved and things have been crazy.
For the couple who have messaged me about the books.  I have not heard from the artist doing the art work for the children's book in a couple of month's so I will be looking for another one again soon.  As well when things get put into order be completing the re-write to my novel.  All in due time I suppose, I will post more about that when I have made more progress.

For now, enjoy the beautiful weather everyone. :)

Keurig vue and your skin

Something I have been meaning to post for those of you with a keurig vue who have not figured this out for yourself.
Those of us looking for the next skin miracle, already know coffee is great for the skin and aging skin at that!
Well if you have the keurig vue don't throw away that little filter full of used coffee grounds. Instead carry it into the shower with you the next time. That little filter acts as a wonderful exfoliator full of coffee. Use it on your face and your skin is baby soft it works well on the rest of your skin.
I used mine all over. So overall I would have to say the vue has become one of the best investments I have made this year.

Cheers everyone!

Edmond Fiat / Edmond Hyundai

My husband and I purchased a vehicle outright with a credit card from this company on January 5th this year. As of today the 29th of March we are yet to receive a title and they do not return our calls. They have re-issued sale papers for different dates twice with new paper tags. We did not find out until we waited a month and no title to find out there was a problem with the title itself.

We called wanting to return the vehicle since they could not produce the title the guy I talked to pretty much started laughing. We finally contacted a lawyer and are waiting to see what happens. Stay away from this company if you are not going through a finance company, do not purchase a used vehicle from them.

Pancho's Mexican Buffet

I have to say, the last couple of times I have been to Pancho's I have been extremely disappointed. I just went to the rest room and one of the seats happens to be broken and hanging in a dirty stool. The food has really been bad. It had been about a year since my last visit.
I had hopes of improvement, alas there was none. The food greasy and hard, they haven't been open long either. So I am afraid my mothers favorite restaurant is no longer on my visit list
Myself I would have rather gone too sprouts and chewed on fresh green beans.

Never too late

A friend of mine shared this today, I find it very fitting.

Mid-life crisis or boredom?

My husband Eric turned 35 this past Saturday, and went to bed at 9:30 pm.  Since I cannot sleep most the time I go in to lay with him a few minutes and talk.  I knew something was bothering him, we always sing to each other or something crazy at the least, but that night he was quiet.

I roll over and rub his ear and start singing my own version of "Singing in the rain".  Of course then he joins in with words that don't fit and severely out of tune.  Then bursts out with "I think I am having a mid-life crisis!"  Of course, I am playing the concerned wife and did what anyone would do; I start giggling uncontrollably.

Once I am able to calm down I ask him why he believe's that.  He went on to tell me that he didn't know what to do, that he was frustrated and lost.  Then went on to tell me that men going through a mid-life crisis get girlfriends that are young enough to be their daughter's, start dressing and acting like kids; at this I have to stifle another giggle.  Then said the get sports cars, "I have a sports car now!"

I am quiet and think about what he said, and then I tell him that I believe that a lot of the issues are tied to our finance's being a bit strained due to his injury and that he hasn't worked in over four months.  That he feels limited because he is and his injury "dislocated shoulder"  has been having one problem after another.  He went to two months of physical therapy before they decided to do an MRI to see if there was a deeper problem.  There was and he ended up with a "frozen shoulder" so they performed a "manipulation under anesthesia."

He wasn't satisfied with this being the bigger problem.  So, I offered a remedy; even though I know he will not go for it unless I push him.  My fix to the situation - sell off everything we own.  Not including laptops, camera, clothing and few personal items.  Then travel, invest the money and go.  We don't have children, we are renting the house we are currently in, so I see no reason not too.  Then again I was raised that in a way this was normal for me.  Didn't like the way things were going pack up and go, worry about when and where later.

Of course this is a shocking thought to my husband.  Though with the hunt for Forrest Fen's treasure who knows, there may be luck for me yet.

E-Cig, SUCKS!

Well, not literally.  I suppose I would be the sucker behind it.  The fact is though it is not a great product; I am not saying that it couldn't be.  The first 24 hours were fine, except it would not hold a charge and it still won't.  One of the cartridges was empty or faulty, other than that, hey it was great.  I liked the fact of not smelling of smoke and choking my non smoking husband.  Unfortunately, since it did not hold a charge I ended up buying cigarettes.
I think once financials are back in order and my husband has healed and back to work I am going to give acupuncture a try.  It's the times like these I really wished I could step away from them and say "No more, it is not for me" one of these days it will happen and I will feel better for it.

Cheddar Bacon No Knead Bread

Ingredients:

3 cups all purpose flour
1 and 2/3 cups water
1/4 tsp rapid rise yeast
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar
1/2 drained and chopped bacon

Optional:
1 or 2 tbs bacon grease

Start off with your dry ingredients.  Add your flour, yeast and salt to a bowl and whisk ingredients until well blended or 30 seconds if you want to be sure.

Next add your bacon, cheddar cheese and bacon grease if you chose to use it and stir them until the cheese and bacon are well coated and it looks like a bit of a crumbled mess.

Now pour your water in use the handle of your spoon to stir.  Using the handle of your spoon to combine it will keep from having it stuck in the well of the spoon and is similar to using a dough hook.  When the dough starts sticking to the bowl stop. It will be a gooey mess.  Place a towel over the bowl and let it raise.

You need to allow the dough to raise anywhere from 8 to 24 hours.

Once the dough has risen, lightly flour your surface and turn the dough out.  Pat the dough flat with the ball of your hand into a rectangle shape.  With a dough scrapper fold the dough into thirds, similar to folding a letter.

Now you are going to place the dough into a lightly oiled skillet "your choice what use" olive, veg, pan spray, letting it rest for another hour.  After an hour pre-heat your oven to 425 degrees for 30 minutes.  If you are using a dutch oven or other covered dish place it in the oven to pre-heat as well.  If you are using the skillet the dough is resting in or another pan; don't worry about it.

Now that the oven has pre-heated for 30 minutes your dough is almost ready.  If you are putting your dough in a heated dish now is the time to move it.  Using the skillet to help make the transfer easier, after transferred or if leaving where it is, score the top of the bread twice with scissors.  Please make sure if using the skillet you allowed your dough to rest in, that it is an oven safe vessel.

Score the top of the bread before baking!

I myself like this with a bit more cheese on the top before baking, this is just a preference.

Bake for 30 minutes if in a covered dish and you want it a bit more brown uncover bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Pull from the oven and dump bread onto a cooling rack.  Enjoy.

Please remember that different climates and altitudes can affect your baking adjust where needed.
